Follically Challenged

Posted in Comedy, Talk, Explicit by robandjoeshow on March 31st, 2016

Even without actually participating in the show, Robby’s pessimistic attitude can have an effect. Donations are pouring into the show, and the listeners have spoken with regard to how the money should be spent. The Listener of the Year also submitted another homemade network promo that is unflattering to Joe. The critics and the public seem to be split on Superman v Batman. Rob and Joe haven’t seen the movie, but that doesn’t stop them from having an opinion as well. Rob heard a rumor about Joe and so he confronts him with the information on the show. Joe is learning the hard way the old show biz saying about not working with kids and animals. Joe is happy about taking his son to see The Who, even though their age is really starting to be a detriment.

#236 - Barf Bags

Posted in Comedy, Talk, Explicit by robandjoeshow on March 22nd, 2016

Rob and Joe jump right in to talk about the fallout from Joe Robinson sharing what happened recently at the Baltimore Comedy Factory with Tom Arnold. Tom Arnold goes Twitter crazy, 98Rock makes it a thing, Joe has a Mike O'Meara Show appearance, and this may affect Joe's comedy gigs. Tommy Sinbazo is hitting it out of the park with the costumes for the upcoming murder mystery, Superhero Homicide. The Rob and Joe Show receives a gift from Miggity Mac, and Rob and Joe can't decide what to do with it. Share your thoughts on Twitter @RobandJoeShow. Joe stands up to a poker bully. And, Joe has to empty his stomach on a flight.

#235 - Working Her Levi’s

Posted in Comedy, Talk, Explicit by robandjoeshow on March 15th, 2016

Rob and Joe are back, and Robby is busy watching The Bachelor. Rob and Joe get to do some stand up with people with fame... what kind of fame is debatable. Hear about Joe working with Tom Arnold, and Rob featuring for Pauly Shore. Are they divas? Are they down-to-earth? Oh, you'll have to listen to find out. A road trip has its pros and cons and questions. Why does someone have a sex coloring book? Who is more likely to please them self when everyone goes to sleep? Tommy Sinbazo is the Lord of the Nerds! This and so much more on this episode of The Rob and Joe Show featuring Marcus. BTW, Marcus health update with details. And, why is MORE Broadcasting sister show, The Tony Perkins Show going to be at the DC Improv where Rob regularly has a gig? Finger pointing, finger inserting, and controversy.

No One Likes Parades

Posted in Comedy, Talk, Explicit by robandjoeshow on March 8th, 2016

It’s National Cereal Day and Rob and Joe both lament being denied the sugary options as kids. Joe misses chastising the Comedy Factory stand-up competition entrants this year after relinquishing the administrative duties toa colleague. Joe is still talking about Rob’s weird behavior in Winchester and the results of the poll are revealed. Rob and Joe think a well-known comedian’s comments on Donald Trump (and extreme labels in general) are counterproductive and possibly dangerous. When Joe goes to see a parade he remembers how much he dislikes them. Joe is excited about some upcoming concert plans. Joe is asked to participate in a political talk show again even though he is under-informed and refuses to read any prep. Rob is having anxiety about the Virginia Beach murder mystery show and another event that is possibly being promoted the wrong way. Joe shares his thoughts on Fuller House.

No Means No

An engagement announcement on TMOS eclipses any discussion of the successful murder mystery in Leesburg. Rob once again sniffing-out controversies in the comedy community on Facebook gets un-friended and blocked in two separate confrontations. When Joe buys ballet tickets for his girlfriend’s birthday, he doesn’t get quite what he bargained for. Joe discovers that commercial breaks on BET are excessive. Joe reviews Chris Rock’s hosting effort, the winners and the losers at the 88th Annual Academy Awards. The energy at Friday’s murder mystery in Leesburg was so electric that some of the cast got a little carried away. After the show, one of the performers shared stories of his many fights as a youth, but Rob and Joe can’t really relate. Rob revisits the topic of not introducing his father to Joe after being criticized on O’MearaCast.
