Posted in Comedy, Talk, Explicit by robandjoeshow on August 16th, 2017

Mac Bergson releases his summer power rankings. Die Laughing Production is killing it, but someone might be getting the axe. The Bachelorette results are in, and Joe is reluctant to talk about it. #313 - Rob’s Fault

Posted in Comedy, Talk, Explicit by robandjoeshow on August 7th, 2017

Following three new revelations about Scott Apple's amazing lack of knowledge, Rob is desperate to get him back on the show. This season of The Bachelorette (and the fantasy league) come to a close, and still Robby is pleading innocent after crushing the competition. Robby has become far too busy for the show. Joe takes exception to the handling of OmearaCast by couple of the frequent guest hosts. Rob's suspicions about a former driving class student are confirmed when the man is arrested. The addition of a new member to the fantasy football league is making Joe nervous. When a friend and comedy colleague of Rob and Joe collapses during a performance, a different MORE network show gets the exclusive interview. Rob gets a bad report on one of the crew members when he returns to a murder mystery venue to perform stand-up. Joe is making plans for the move into Gramp's house.

Cesspool of Angriness

Posted in Comedy, Talk, Explicit by robandjoeshow on August 3rd, 2017

A comedy cohort (and former show fill-in host) goes nuclear when sees what he thinks is a Game of Thrones spoiler on social media. Joe is exhausted from his politics-filled Twitter feed and the relentless anti-Trump tirade. Joe returns to doing standup over the weekend and inadvertently says something that completely turns the audience against him. The next murder mystery will feature a woman very familiar to listeners, but who has never actually appeared in one of the shows. Another member of the crew proposes a bigger role for himself. A horror convention creates a potential conflict for a new cast member, and Joe is flummoxed when he read the list of "stars" scheduled to appear. One venue is taking liberties with Die Laughing Productions marketing materials and Robby takes issue with it. Katie's entertaining father is eager to take a puzzling part-time job. Rob just can't have a certain word in his music and is frustrated by the dwindling availability of the radio-friendly versions of songs.
