One Giant Base

Rob and Joe share holiday memories and talk about the gifts they received. Rob meets the baby that he wanted to nanny. An old jacket of Rob's is gifted to his girlfriend's father but something embarrassing gets left in the pocket. Joe's 98 Rock morning show stint is successful, but afterward he feels battle-weary. A website ranks the SNL alumni and Rob and Joe critique the list. The quality of cheerleaders is examined based on the sport and other criteria. A reputable poll finds that Kris Humphries is the most disliked man in the NBA and Rob wonders if he can recoup the entry fee he paid for his girlfriend to win a football pool.

‘Tis the Season

Only Joe's pending fantasy football winnings can insure that his wife gets a surprise for Christmas. Rob and Joe ponder an age-old question. Is "Die Hard" a Christmas movie? An internet hoax sparks a conversation about what celebrity deaths would potentially be the most important or surprising. Rob and Robby fear Joe may have upset Veronica Belmont after she provided a boost to the show's popularity. He denies it, but admits to a long history of upsetting people with his comments on the radio. Joe rethinks the approach to his WBAL shows after being undermined. Announcer Tim touts an impressionist, and as usual, Rob and Joe have a strong opinion. Joe is booked as a fill-in host on 98 Rock, and then wonders if this is truly an honor. Rob feels his comedy mojo has returned.

Welcome to the show…Miss Veronica Belmont

The anticipation is palpable and Robby feels the stress as the moment of his triumph draws near. After his girlfriend injures her foot, Rob wonders if he can continue a relationship with an amputee. Joe worries about being exposed as technically challenged to Veronica Belmont. Rob appears as a guest on another podcast, and Robby gets joy from the show's audio struggles. Veronica Belmont talks to Rob and Joe about her mother's thoughts on their show, app developers, karaoke, gaming, acting, her novel and guys with flip phones and extra feet. Joe recites Robby's show prep to Veronica to see if any of his items constitute a little too much knowledge.

That’s not fulfilling me

Robby calls a meeting before the show on the impending Veronica Belmont appearance. His attempt to motivate Rob and Joe to do some extra prep work completely backfires. Joe butts heads with an elderly former Maryland governor. Rob continues to be plagued by a run of disappointing stand-up comedy shows. Then things become uncomfortable when Joe asks about Rob's father's occupation. Last week's revelation about a large item being found in the apartment is reexamined when its discovered that Rob's girlfriend overheard the conversation as it was broadcast. The 'Sandusky' name coincidence is revisited when a local news outlet finally explores the same story Rob and Joe covered weeks ago.
