To Follow Jesus

Tensions arise after a pre-show pitch from Robby is rejected. The 98 Rock morning show's long-time news man gets his feelings hurt by comments on the show. Rob and Joe perform at the same charity event but have differing interpretations about what kind of content is appropriate. Joe finds the setup at a gig challenging and one of the other comics resorts to insulting the emcee. A fan of Rob's exhibits stalker-ish behavior. Rob observes yet another comic's odd time-passing activity in a bar. Guest4855's chat comments bear a strong resemblance to an individual much-discussed recently. Rob is very reluctant to call Robby for help with a last-minute problem. A coworker of Joe's presents a theory about a little-known ethnic stereotype. Rob has new evidence to contradict Joe's beliefs about eating the lawn.

After Joe's first appearance on the new 98 Rock morning show, he offers his critique. Mickey Cucchiella seems better than ever in his live debut following his exit from the old show. Joe's new material attracts the wrong kind of attention. The self-proclaimed comedian and prolific emailer publishes his much-anticipated treatise. Rob and Joe discuss fashion and movies. Rob's profitable stint in Virginia Beach leads to the booking of another Middle East tour. Comics are clamoring to be on the show. Gramps lies to police.

Rob grows tired of the pretend comic's never-ending string of lengthy emails, while Joe has doubts that it will ever cease to be entertaining. Joe shares stories; one about a Cialis pill, one about former major league fielder Eric Davis and several about his father. New improved technology will be added to the show in the near future and Rob speculates on the impact for future guest bookings. Joe casually makes another personal revelation about his current circumstances. Rob is bewildered by a new reality show. Joe joins the former 98 Rock morning man for his return live performance and Rob heads to Virginia Beach. A socially awkward coworker of Joe's may need dating help.

The pretend comic's emails grow more aggressive and he even threatens lawsuit. The infamous Katie Moody sends out a suggestive tweet about Joe. After taking notice of some interesting driver improvement class students, Rob ponders dating the impaired as well as when to broach the topic when more than one with a matching affliction are coincidentally present. Joe arrives at Rob's Quench show as promised, but refuses to perform and then abruptly leaves. Rob and Joe speculate on the changes and 98 Rock. A loyal listener discloses in chat his relationship with a young, black boy. Holiday activities are shared and compared.

Joe suspicions about Robby's unwavering regimen are confirmed. Katie Moody can't resist taunting Ravens fans and Joe compares her to Robby. The hustler/joke-teller details his itinerary in the land down under in response to last week's commentary. Rob got to know more than expected about a colleague during a nightmare road gig. Rob's car trip account leads to tales of long car rides with announcer Tim. Joe witnesses some unusual things at an Orioles' game and then talks about what he liked and disliked about the Rolling Stones show.
