A brand new season of The Bachelor debuts on Monday and someone in chat asks about Robby picking the winner again. Rob writing one of Joe's segments for the Ravens pre-game show is really working and last weekend's collaboration was the best so far. Joe cites examples of how Gramps can never truly relax. When his father-in-law acts irresponsibly, Joe jumps at the opportunity to needle Frank about his mistake. Mac shares a story where his son was critical of something said on the show. Someone who attended the New Year's Eve comedy show was determined to get Tawanda's phone number. Rob "borrows" the premise of another comedian's joke to open his set. Erik and Dr. Gil have written similarly titled songs dedicated to what's happened this past year. Rob and Joe were both unfollowed recently on social media, each by a different person.

With Joe subbing for Justin all week on the morning show, Gramps was a big topic of conversation on 98 Rock. The Robinsons had a small Christmas celebration with some of the family absent due to Covid fears. Christmas gifts were abundant, but some people received a lot more of the wealth than others. Joe is spending New Year's at the family's condo in Ocean City which is in the midst of being redecorated. Joe had to complete a frightening task as part of a game. In response to last week's show, J-L demonstrates that he can be unbiased when it comes to the governor of New York. Rob gets invited to a New Year's Eve party by a fan. Joe enjoys watching some Brown's fan disappointment in their team. Katie joins to show to defend herself as she seems to be controlling her husbands wardrobe.

Everyone associated with the show is admiring their Christmas card from Mac Bergson, and one person actually received two. Joe gets admonished unfairly by someone on the 98 Rock morning show. Joe credits Rob on the air for writing a Ravens Game Day segment, but Rob thinks there is an ulterior motive. A horrible show from the DC Universe is Joe's new binge addiction. A new HBO documentary about the Bee Gees has Joe feeling enraged. Shockingly Rob co-hosted afternoon drive with someone unfamiliar with the music of the great Smokey Robinson. The notorious "millennial comedian" has reemerged with a new storyline. The final performance of A Merry Murder Mystery on Sunday featured a gingerbread house that became the focal point for some audience-participation fun.

Joe and Katie are intermittent fasting and find it to be an inconvenient way to lose weight. With their own exercise equipment in storage, the alternatives in Gramps house don't seem like a viable option. Joe invites Gramps on the air to understand why he is gifting part of a favorite food stash to Rob. Joe explains why his life is so terrible right now. Rob has several upcoming comedy shows, but the majority of them are on Zoom. When Rob arrived at the club for one recent booking, it was not at all what he was expecting. This leads to Rob and Joe discussing the merits of Wild 'n Out and The Masked Singer.

Joe recounts his many moves in the past eight years and the number of places from which the show has emanated. Gramps provides some grades and gives very high marks except to one recent guest's appearance. Rob and Joe are full of skepticism regarding the goalie turned placekicker for Vanderbilt. Someone recognizes Joe from his voice. Thanksgiving was different this year in the Robinson house, and Joe puts his foot in his mouth later that day with Katie's family. Rob has a backyard gig with Dr. Gil that surpassed expectations. Rob has an idea about a new Mike Chamberlin theme song, plus last week's topic regarding songs about an animal is revisited. The ongoing discussion about the strange times some NFL games are being played leads to talk about intellectual property and unfair recording contracts.

Rob and Joe are curious how to approach their Monday night Ravens show and what listeners will be most interested in hearing from them now. Joe was so inspired by Jeremy and his disgusting tale of infestation, that he created his own song. While watching a movie Joe sees an actress who looks familiar, and this leads him to memories of his first R-rated movie experiences. Joe describes a man he saw at the wedding he attended last week who has a history with his wife. Joe hears some news that could potentially effect the scheduled holiday murder mystery. Rob riles-up some 98 Rock listeners during a conversation with a former Ravens' tight end who Joe just happens to be targeting as his new best friend. Someone close to Restivo seems to be holding a grudge. Joe is worried about what Gramps might say to a new guest for Thanksgiving. Joe discusses Katie's taste buds and a hot pepper eating competition.

Rob wonders if the chat room regulars will lose interest after missing so many weeks of live shows. Joe doesn't like doing the Purple Power Hour after a loss. The show will be recorded at Gramps house in the near future which presents both obstacles and opportunities. J-L addresses the speculation on last week's show. This leads to another A-list debate, this time about Whoopi. Joe is asked to help his father-in-law who just underwent surgery. Even at a superspreader event, Joe manages to shock people with his disregard for the rules. A fan makes Joe uncomfortable. Rob's Dry Bar Comedy special is finally close to a release date. Joe shares a running list he keeps of his outstanding bets. A dumb response to one of Joe's tweets is analyzed. The state wants money returned that they paid to Rob.

Jeremy Spoke

Another song contribution from Jeremy, and his first live appearance on the show, leave much to be desired. Joe and Katie find a surprising piece of Aunt Mom's history while taking inventory of the many years of accumulated possessions in Gramps' house. At the movie theatre comedy show, all the comics tried their hand at Joe's classic closer. Rob discusses some weird situations he discovered while visiting someone in the hospital. Gramps has some more interesting habits that Joe's discovered. With the future of the economy in question, and the current real estate climate, Joe has a strategy for moving forward with he and Katie's living situation. Rob wonders about the future of J-L Cauvin's career-changing impression of the president.

Following a successful Halloween show, Rob and Joe lament the loss of murder mystery revenue in 2020. Erik joins the show again, this time to ask him if he landed a coveted feature spot. Rob suggests how Gramps can expand his horizons updating to television streaming technology without fully understanding the mindset of the elder Robinson. This leads to a revisiting of an in-person Rob and Joe Show live performance discussed pre-COVID. Joe sold his house in a matter of days and is temporarily relocating to a place that will provide plenty of content for the show. Robby has trivia about the many fictional movies from the nine seasons of Seinfeld.

Gramps for President

Joe spent some time listening to classic county with Gramps and was surprised by how little his father knew about the music. Rob has an idea for another collaboration between Gramps and Erik, so the talented Mr. Woodworth is called and asked if he's up for the challenge. When a listener has a dream about Robby, it is revealed that he was also a topic on 98 Rock that morning. Attending a cooking class Joe and Katie didn't really learn anything, but one of them did manage to draw a lot attention to himself. The Bergson and Robinson families have become intertwined and Joe is even dreaming about Mac's life. Joe admires Gramps' move when it comes to picking-up the check at a restaurant. Gramps actually has some stories that are off-limits.
